Our Supported Independent Living (SIL House)

At HDCS, Supported Independent Living (SIL) is more than just support. It’s about building a life of independence, dignity, and connection. We create safe, welcoming homes where individuals can thrive, grow, and live life on their own terms.
Our rigorously screened NDIS support workers deliver best-practice care tailored to each person’s unique needs. Whether it’s mastering daily tasks, developing new skills, or accessing the community, our team is committed to empowering you every step of the way. At our SIL House, we don’t just remove barriers. We help you unlock your potential and embrace a life filled with confidence, freedom, and purpose.
Our SIL House is designed to empower individuals with disabilities to develop independence while receiving the support they need. This include:
✅ Personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, morning and evening routines.
✅ Building daily living skills: meal preparation, healthy eating, cleaning, laundry, home organisation, budgeting and financial planning.
✅ Community Access & Social Engagement: using public transport with confidence, joining local programs, social groups, building meaningful friendships.
✅ 24/7 Support and Supervision: round-the-clock care for high support needs, safety and security at home, and emergency assistance when required.
